Job Title: Technical Project Leader

Reports To: Head of Engineering

Job Type: Full-Time

Experience Level: 8 Years

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Project Leader to lead end-to-end software project delivery while providing architectural oversight and ensuring technical excellence. This hybrid role requires hands-on technical leadership combined with strong project management capabilities to deliver scalable and high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management

• Lead the planning execution and delivery of complex software projects.

• Define project scope milestones and resource allocation.

• Manage cross-functional teams including developers QA DevOps and business stakeholders.

• Monitor project performance mitigate risks and resolve issues.

• Maintain project documentation and ensure transparency with regular progress updates.

Technical Architecture

• Design and review system architecture aligned with business goals and scalability requirements.

• Make critical decisions regarding technology stack design patterns and third-party integrations.

• Guide teams in adopting engineering best practices coding standards and design principles.

• Review and approve technical specifications solution architecture and design documents.

Team & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Act as the technical point of contact between business stakeholders and engineering teams.

• Facilitate requirements gathering solutioning sessions and architecture reviews.

• Mentor developers and junior architects on system design technical decisions and career growth.

• Collaborate with product managers to translate business needs into technical deliverables.

Qualifications:

Must Have

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.

• 8 years of experience in software development with at least 3 years in technical leadership or architecture roles.

• 3 years of experience in project management using Agile/Scrum or hybrid methodologies.

• Proven experience designing distributed systems APIs microservices and cloud-native applications.

• Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture Next React GCP Docker Kubernetes.

Proficiency in project management tools like Jira Confluence or equivalents.

Nice to Have

• Project Management Certification (PMP PMI-ACP or similar).

• Architecture Certification (AWS Certified Solutions Architect TOGAF etc.).

• Experience in DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

Soft Skills:

• Strong leadership communication and negotiation skills.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Ability to balance business goals with technical constraints.

• High level of accountability and ownership.
