Senior Mechanical Estimation Engineer

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled SeniorMechanical Estimation Engineer to join our this role you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and performing detailed takeoffs for HVAC (duct & piping) and plumbing systems.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading Mechanical Contractor in Chicago USA

Working hours:

• The working schedule is aligned with the U.S. Central Time zone from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CT.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quantity takeoffs for HVAC (duct & pipe) and plumbing systems including all accessories.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates using company-provided software.
• Analyze mechanical drawings and project specifications.
• Ensure proper material selection connections and system components.
• Utilize Excel (advanced formulas) for calculations and reporting.
• Support tendering and pre-construction activities.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 4 Years ofExperience in mechanical estimation (HVAC & plumbing).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Experience with takeoff/estimation software.
• Strong Excel skills.
• English Fluency
