Project Control and Planning Manager

• Develop implement and maintain project control systems and processes to ensure efficient project execution
• Create and manage detailed project schedules using advanced project management software
• Monitor project progress analyze variances and provide regular status reports to stakeholders
• Develop and track project budgets forecasts and cost estimates
• Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive risk management strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of project goals and objectives
• Lead and mentor a team of project control specialists and planners
• Analyze project performance data and provide actionable insights to improve project outcomes
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards in Cairo and throughout Egypt
• Prepare and present comprehensive project reports to senior management and clients

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or a related field
• Minimum 15 years of experience in project controls and planning in hotel projects
• Proven track record of managing hotel projects in Cairo or similar environments
• Advanced proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
• Strong knowledge of cost control budgeting and risk management techniques
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities with the capacity to convey complex information clearly
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
• Additional certifications in project controls or planning (e.g. Planning & Scheduling Professional) are a plus
• In-depth understanding of construction and engineering processes and methodologies
• Familiarity with local regulations and standards in Cairo Egypt
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
