Procurement Lead

• KONE is looking for an experienced Procurement Lead to drive the execution of sourcing strategies supplier management and procurement excellence across local materials customer projects and indirect spend.
• The ideal candidate will bring 10 years of progressive experience in procurement or sourcing with proven expertise in the construction industry including Mechanical Electrical (MEP) scopes. You will play a key role in developing and implementing sourcing strategies that deliver cost efficiency quality and operational excellence.
• The Procurement Lead will act as a strong business partner to both Projects execution team ensuring alignment between commercial operational and technical objectives. This role demands a balance of strategic insight and hands-on execution with a focus on collaboration value creation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement activities across projects and indirect categories ensuring compliance with company policies and business objectives.
• Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships to secure competitive advantages in cost quality delivery and innovation.
• Partner closely with project engineering and service teams to align sourcing strategies with operational needs and project timelines.
• Negotiate complex contracts and framework agreements ensuring optimal commercial and legal terms.
• Drive cost optimization risk mitigation and sustainable sourcing initiatives.
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Contribute to the development of procurement policies tools and processes that enhance efficiency and transparency.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Engineering Business
• 10 years of experience in procurement sourcing or supply chain management.
• Strong background in construction procurement and MEP scope management.
• Proven track record in supplier negotiation contract management and sourcing.
• Excellent analytical problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail.
• Proactive customer-focused mindset with a passion for collaboration and continuous improvement.
