Project & Development Services - MENA

JLL Project & Development Services (P&DS) MENA provides consulting design management and build services to tenant and owners leveraging technology and digital solutions to drive outstanding service delivery.

We bring a life-cycle perspective to our clients from development solutions to our core services in programme project and cost management and consulting in digital solutions tenancy management sustainability leisure & entertainment and workplace & design.

Role: We are seeking a talented and motivated Assistant MEP Manager with a strong background in Mechanical Engineering to join our Project & Development Services team in Cairo Egypt. The successful candidate will work closely with the MEP Project Manager to oversee and coordinate mechanical electrical and plumbing aspects of construction projects with a primary focus on mechanical systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development within our dynamic organization.

What this job involves:

Assist in managing MEP projects from conception to completion.

Support the development and maintenance of project schedules and budgets.

Collaborate with the MEP Project Manager to ensure quality standards and compliance with regulations.

Coordinate with architects engineers and other consultants for integrated design solutions.

Review and provide input on MEP drawings specifications and technical submittals.

Assist in managing relationships with clients contractors and suppliers.

Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with project specifications.

Help resolve technical issues and contribute to innovative MEP solutions.

Prepare project status reports and assist in presentations to management and clients.

Support the implementation of health safety and environmental standards on projects.

Contribute to the mentoring and guidance of junior team members.

Desired skills and experience for this:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.

3-5 years of experience in MEP project management or related field.

Strong knowledge of HVAC plumbing and fire protection systems.

Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Egypt.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit MEP and other relevant software.

Understanding of sustainable design principles and energy-efficient systems.

Excellent project management skills including scheduling and resource allocation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Effective communication skills in both Arabic and English.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.

Adaptability to changing project requirements and client needs.

Willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
