As a Junior GL Accountant you will support the accurate and timely processing of company expenses and vendor payments ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
-Track and manage dues for vendors and suppliers.
-Verify vendor invoices and confirm task completion with relevant regional managers.
-Prepare and process payment requests and coordinate approvals.
-Align expenses with approved budgets and flag discrepancies.
-Communicate and follow up with the treasury team regarding upcoming and due payments.
-Maintain up-to-date records for fixed recurring and expected expenses.
-Assist in monthly and quarterly closing by ensuring accurate recording of payables.
-Bachelors degree in Commerce or Business (English Section preferred).
-1 to 2 years of experience in accounting preferably in accounts payable or general ledger functions.
-Good command of English (spoken and written).
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel.
-Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems is a plus.
-Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
