Internship Service Engineer

NOV Digital Services Team in Cairo is seeking Service Engineer this role you will support the service and maintenance of NOV equipment used in offshore and onshore operations. During your internship you will gain practical experience by assisting experienced engineers with equipment inspection troubleshooting repairs and workshop activities. You will also learn about NOV systems such as RigSense E-Wildcat Softspeed and Block Control Systems while following safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist service engineers with the inspection maintenance and repair of NOV MDT equipment.
• Support workshop activities including equipment testing and basic troubleshooting.
• Learn to read engineering drawings and schematics to understand equipment operation.
• Help prepare service reports maintenance records and other technical documentation.
• Assist with inventory management parts handling and incoming shipments.
• Observe and support fault-finding and equipment diagnostics under supervision.
• Participate in equipment inspections to ensure compliance with operational and safety standards.
• Work closely with engineers technicians and other team members on service projects.
• Follow Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policies and contribute to maintaining a safe workplace.
• Gain exposure to customer support activities and understand maintenance best practices.
• Perform other technical and administrative tasks as assigned by supervisors.
