As a DeputyProject Engineering Manager you will be responsible for managing a multi-disciplinary engineering team of Worley personnel and Worley subcontractors on a nuclear power plant project providing direct interface with the Customer and assisting in the training of Customers engineering and technical staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manages a multi-disciplinary engineering team to ensure project is effectively and technically delivered to meet the timeline and budget.
• Ensures Worley Engineering team is duly indoctrinated.
• Responsible for providing the necessary technical support and input to the Worley Project Manager and team.
• Represents Worley Engineering at internal & external meetings on the project.
• Establishes Worley Engineering resource requirements and sources the necessary resources for the project.
• Ensures Worley Engineering systems and procedures are developed and rolled out for the project and work is performed in accordance with Worley internal processes and procedures.
• Ensures effective coordination between the Worley project engineering disciplines.
• Ensures Worley Engineering team is correctly reporting in each discipline.
• Enforces inter-discipline reviews of deliverables distributes deliverables on the project.
• Ensures that all identified contractors are suitably pre-qualified for delivery of the project.
• Substitute Project Engineering Manager in his absence.
