The Job in a Nutshell

As the Purchasing Controller youll play a critical role in managing purchasing and imports. Your responsibilities will include:

• Raising and placing orders as per the agreed purchasing schedule.

• Expediting shipments and handling sales order backlog management.

• Communicating vendor backlog dates and managing imports for short shipments and damages.

• Setting up logistics for new vendors and managing freight from origin to warehouse or customer location.

• Generating timely reports and managing rotations to maximize rebates.

• Maintaining system data for part numbers backlog dates and contracts.

• Collaborating with vendors and teams to finalize rotations and manage contracts.

Experiences Skills and Expectations

We are looking for candidates with:

• A bachelors degree in purchasing supply chain or related field.

• 1 to 2 years of experience in a purchasing role.

• Proficiency in generating reports and managing system data.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with vendors and teams.
