In this role you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer. You will provide strategic HR partnership to global leaders across Operations Manufacturing and Quality while managing an international HR team that supports the organization across regions.
The Team you will be part of:
You will join the Global HR organization and work closely with senior leaders across Hearing Operations Manufacturing and Quality as well as HR colleagues in the regions and HR Centers Of Excellence.
You will manage 3 direct reports and an overall team of approximately 15 colleagues. Together the team combines global collaboration with local understanding to provide trusted data-informed and practical people support in a complex multicultural organization.
In this role you will:
- Set the people strategy and priorities for Global Operations Manufacturing and Quality aligned with business objectives and GNs HR agenda
- Act as a trusted advisor and constructive sparring partner to senior leaders on organizational performance workforce planning talent succession and capability development
- Be responsible for GN Hearings Health & Safety agenda and function supporting globally with Health & Safety for all locations
- Manage develop and support a Global HR team supporting the global Manufacturing sites of approximately 15 colleagues including 3 direct reports (China Malaysia & Denmark) enabling clear priorities collaboration and quality outcomes
- Translate business priorities into clear people plans and interventions including organizational design change initiatives and capability building
- Ensure consistent deployment of global HR processes and policies including performance reward talent and succession processes
- Guide organizational changes and restructuring activities ensuring stakeholder alignment local compliance and a people-centric approach
- Use people and business data to provide insights and recommendations that support forward-looking decisions across the organizations
To perform well in the role we imagine that you:
- Are curious and bring a transformation mindset - a natural people connector who builds strong relationships across the company enjoys leadership and has a genuine interest in understanding the business and how value is created
- Bring relevant experience from a senior HR business partnering role in a complex international and matrix-based organization including approximately 15 years of relevant professional experience
- Preferably bring a solid understanding of Manufacturing Operations and Quality environments and the people priorities associated with these functions
- Have experience managing and developing teams across countries and cultures creating clarity trust and shared direction
- Combine a strategic mindset with the ability to translate priorities into practical sustainable people initiatives
- Build trusting relationships with senior stakeholders use data and sound judgement to guide decisions and are proficient in English
The role involves an estimated 1030 travel days per year.
