Quality Engineer

We are looking for an independent and proactive Quality Engineer to join our team at Nitto Denko Czech in Brno and become a key partner for our customers.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• communicating with customers and managing customer-specific requirements;
• handling complaints using the 8D methodology and root cause analysis;
• preparing and maintaining PPAP VDA 2 PFMEA and IMDS documentation;
• managing customer portals scorecards and regulatory declarations;
• analysing non-conformities coordinating corrective actions and reporting quality KPIs;
• supporting internal external and customer audits;
• cooperating with Production R&D Project Management and Logistics during new and modified product launches.

This is primarily an office-based role with regular involvement in production during audits quality incidents and product launches.

• Secondary or university education in a technical field.
• Previous experience in quality preferably within the automotive industry.
• Good written and spoken English at least B1 level.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
• Experience with quality tools such as 8D FMEA/PFMEA PPAP APQP SPC or root cause analysis.
• Ability to communicate with customers analyse problems and coordinate their resolution.
• An independent responsible and well-organised approach with attention to detail.
• Good MS Office skills; SAP experience is an advantage.
