• Develop and maintain robust server-side applications and APIs
• Collaborate with front-end developers and product owners to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Write clean efficient and maintainable back-end code
• Optimise back-end systems for maximum performance scalability and reliability
• Test and debug server-side logic to ensure high quality and seamless functionality
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex server-side issues
• Document and maintain technical specifications for back-end development
• Stay ahead of emerging back-end technologies tools and industry best practices

• Proficiency in a server-side language such as C# (MVC framework) Python Java or
• Familiarity with back-end frameworks such as Core MVC Spring Boot or Django
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration
• Experience with version control (Git) and working within CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills for complex server-side applications
• A natural team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills
• A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience
• Must be eligible to work in Cyprus a work visa is not provided.

• Database experience with MySQL PostgreSQL or MongoDB
• Exposure to Docker Kubernetes or cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)
• Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Mocha Jest or JUnit
• Understanding of API security best practices and tools like Postman or Swagger
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• A genuine appetite to learn and grow in a dynamic fast-paced environment
