Technician, Validation III (temporary 6 months)

PURPOSE STATEMENT 
Responsible for actively supporting the execution of validation activities for processes equipment and computerized systems ensuring compliance with AbbVie and medical industry standards requirements.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Develop write and execute validation protocols for elements that need to be qualified or validated
• Carry out tasks associated with the execution of validation studies as well as analyze data and generate reports for elements that need to be qualified or validated.
• Control coordinate and notify everything necessary to carry out validation studies according to the proposed plan in order to maximize the use of assigned resources and ensure proper execution of tasks.
• Ensure compliance with good documentation practices as well as timely ethical responsible and documented execution of validations and studies required by the company.
• Train personnel who need to be qualified in conducting validation studies so that tasks are performed with the required knowledge ensuring proper execution and obtaining results.
• Follow and properly consult procedures assigned to the position when executing tasks or validation studies.
• Implement improvement ideas in the area to achieve more efficient processes for the business.
• Monitor the areas metrics.
• Support quality system actions such as CAPAs and audit actions.
• Other functions inherent to the position and those assigned by your immediate supervisor.

Qualifications :

• Technician in Electronics Electrical Engineering Electromechanics or a related field or having completed at least 40% of the courses in an engineering degree.
• English proficiency B1
• Three (3) to four (4) years as a validation quality manufacturing or engineering technician in regulated medical industries with significant knowledge of GxP practices. If with fewer years of experience it should be compensated by the level of education.
• Availability for a fix term contract (6 months)
• Schedule: A5: Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
