At Pearster were looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with strong expertise to join an international project with an important Canadian fintech client.

Were looking for a proactive developer with strong English communication skills and experience migrating applications.

This is a remote opportunity for professionals based in LATAM working in EST hours.

Youll join an international project of approximately 5 months focused on application migration collaborating with a Canadian fintech client and distributed teams.

The initial focus of the project will be migrating applications from an older version of that is approaching end of support to a newer supported version.

After the migration is completed youll continue working with the team providing ongoing support and maintenance for the applications running on the new version.

The main technology stack is for the backend MongoDB for storage and React for the frontend.

This opportunity is ideal for a senior developer who can bring strong expertise proactively identify potential issues and take ownership of technical challenges throughout the migration and post-migration phases.

• Contribute to the migration and modernization of existing applications.

• Upgrade applications from an older version to a newer supported version.

• Identify and resolve compatibility issues dependencies and technical challenges related to the upgrade.

• Provide ongoing support and maintenance after the migration working with the applications in the new environment.

• Develop and maintain backend solutions using .

• Work with MongoDB for data storage.

• Develop and maintain frontend applications using React.

• Collaborate with technical and cross-functional teams throughout the migration and post-migration phases.

• Proactively identify challenges and contribute to technical solutions.

• Senior-level professional experience with and backend development.

• Strong hands-on expertise with the ability to independently troubleshoot and solve complex backend issues.

• Experience upgrading versions and/or migrating applications between different runtime or framework versions.

• Strong understanding of dependencies compatibility issues and application maintenance.

• Experience developing and maintaining production applications with .

• Experience with MongoDB.

• Experience with React.

• Ability to take technical ownership and work independently when solving migration and application issues.

• Proactive mindset and strong communication skills.

• Advanced English to communicate confidently with an international client and team.
