Sr System & Testing Engineer

• Bridge Builder & Technical Coordinator: You act as the central link for testing topics between our joint-venture UAES and global Bosch development sites within our International Testing Network (ITN). You drive the alignment of test methods strategies and tool-supported test metrics between both parties.
• Platform Evaluation: You evaluate innovative concepts and designs from a V&V perspective regarding their suitability for global application ensuring that international requirements are integrated into specifications early on.
• Cross-Domain Functional Verification: You work consistently across domains reviewing testing requirements from system hardware software and validation (VALT) perspectives. You focus on checking the consistency and correctness of local functional tests against the System Architectural Design.
• Strategic Test Planning: You define testing scopes and activities for A- and B-samples up to release target RT4 and confidently control these in an international context. You establish top-level tailoring prioritization and reusability guidelines.
• Supplier-to-OEM Interface: You convince both suppliers and OEMs of an integrative testing approach. You ensure that besides technical maturity applicability in customer projects is fully guaranteed keeping in mind the capabilities of Chinese OEMs (COEMs) and established global manufacturers.
• Global Usability of Results: You ensure that testing results are recognized worldwide. Where necessary you expand test specifications at UAES and/or Bosch to enable a seamless RoW release without redundant testing while transferring test cases to a shared platform.
• Optimal Resource Efficiency: You leverage your knowledge of global testing field capabilities at UAES Bosch and external partners to steer testing activities in a time- content- and cost-optimized manner.
• Maturity & Quality Assurance: You actively introduce testing-relevant aspects (including HV-Safety compliance and NoTI release processes) into the development and specification teams to ensure technical solutions are handed over to customer projects with the highest verification quality.

Qualifications :

• Education & Experience: Successfully completed degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering Mechatronics Automotive Engineering or equivalent) combined with several years of professional experience in automotive testing. You act as an expert with a strong overview of all testing activities and 23 deep-dive focus areas.
• Deep Testing Expertise: Profound knowledge in Verification & Validation including functional testing with active experience in at least two domains (SYS SW HW or VALT). You know automotive norms functional safety (ISO 26262) NoTI and Global as well as Chinese OEM test standards.
• System & Product Understanding: Strong technical and product understanding of Power Electronics Units (PEU) including safety ideally with V&V experience in DCDC converters on-board chargers (ChargerConverter) traction inverters eAxles or highly integrated drive systems (Xin1).
• Testing Environments & Methods: Solid understanding of modern testing infrastructures including HiL HV test benches OEM integration HiL vehicle-level testing (summer/winter) lifetime/durability test benches and EOL test benches.
• Languages & Communication: Fluent in Mandarin and English (German is a plus); Strong persuasion and communication skills with a passion for building technical bridges and working in international cross-functional teams.
