Lead Engineer (Application Engineering)

We are seeking an experienced Brushless DC (BLDC) Motor Design Engineer to lead the complete product development cycle from market analysis to mass production support. The ideal candidate will have solid BLDC motor design expertise familiarity with China market requirements and preferably experience in drone/handheld device motor development.

Key Responsibilities

• Motor Design & Development
• Lead electromagnetic design structural optimization and performance validation of BLDC motors based on market and customer requirements
• Deliver key milestones including Engineering Sample (ESI) Quality Review (QR) and System Evaluation Report (SER)
• Prepare complete technical documentation (design drawings BOM test specifications etc.)
• Prototype Validation & Production Support
• Conduct DFMEA (Design Failure Mode Analysis) oversee prototype fabrication testing and design iterations
• Troubleshoot technical issues during pilot/mass production to ensure product reliability and performance
• Cross-functional Collaboration & Market Support
• Collaborate with hardware manufacturing and procurement teams for system integration and cost optimization
• Provide technical support to sales team for customized solution

Requirements

• Education: Bachelors/Masters in Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Automation or related field
• Experience: 5 years in BLDC motor design familiar with China market requirements

Technical Skills

• Proficient in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred) for motor structural design
• Skilled in DFMEA tolerance analysis and other engineering methodologies
• Hands-on experience in prototype testing and production issue resolution
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in BLDC motor development for drones power tools or home appliances
• Knowledge of electromagnetic simulation (e.g. ANSYS Maxwell) or motor control algorithms (e.g. FOC)
• Basic English proficiency (able to handle technical documentation)
