Position Title

RF Repair Technician

Key Responsibilities

Perform repair and troubleshooting of RF boards for 4G / 5G products including Massive MIMO AIR and RU systems
Diagnose RF signal chain issues including but not limited to:
- PA (Power Amplifier) LNA (Low Noise Amplifier) TRX and RF Front-End modules
Conduct RF performance validation using test equipment including:
- EVM ACPR VSWR and other key RF parameters
Support failure analysis (FA) and provide preliminary root cause insights
Participate in repair activities during NPI and mass production phases
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Test Quality Engineering) to drive issue resolution
Follow ESD and production procedures to ensure repair quality and compliance

Qualifications

Bachelors degree or technical background in Electronics Telecommunications or related fields preferred
Basic knowledge of RF principles with experience in:
- 5G NR or LTE systems (preferred)
- OTA or Conducted testing (preferred)
Experience in PCBA/Board-level repair (13 years preferred)
Ability to read schematics and use basic test instruments
Strong troubleshooting and analytical mindset
Prior experience in manufacturing/EMS environment is a plus
Good teamwork and communication skills able to work in a fast-paced production environment

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

Experience with Ericsson products (AIR / RU / Massive MIMO)
Familiarity with 5G RF test methodologies
Understanding of automated test systems (e.g. test scripts test blobs)
Experience working with cross-functional teams (Test/Quality/Engineering)
Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (e.g. Keysight Rohde & Schwarz)
