Accounting Analyst

Job Summary
We are looking for an Accounting Analyst who is passionate about accuracy continuous improvement and delivering meaningful financial this role you will contribute to the integrity of our financial data support key reporting processes enhance internal controls and play an important part in driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Reporting:
- Processing and posting monthly depreciation and amortization entries.
- Supporting the verification allocation and posting of accruals and provisions accurately and on a timely basis according to Senior Accountant requests.
- Reconciling general ledger accounts and ensuring the accuracy completeness and relevance of financial data.
- Performing month-end and year-end closing activities including the review of balance sheet accounts accruals reclassifications and supporting documentation.
- Preparing agent commission reports for Projects Services and Spare Parts while monitoring provisions and proposing payments when conditions are met.
- Performing month-end import operations closing and reviewing documentation to ensure all import transactions are accurately and timely recorded.
- Uploading daily bank transactions and supporting cash flow monitoring and reporting activities.
- Monitoring and following up on AR/AP parked payments.
- Managing and maintaining vendor master data including payment terms tax details banking information and supporting documentation for vendor creation and modifications.
- Providing financial data explanations and analysis as requested by management.
- Supporting internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to information requests.
- Safeguarding confidential financial information in line with company policies and data handling standards.
Controls Compliance & Continuous Improvement:
In addition to financial reporting responsibilities you will contribute to strengthening processes compliance and operational excellence by:
- Ensuring compliance with accounting policies local tax regulations internal controls and agreed finance operating models.
- Supporting segregation of duties by adhering to established finance control frameworks.
Qualifications :
What Were Looking For:
To succeed in this role you will bring a combination of accounting expertise analytical thinking attention to detail and a collaborative mindset. Were looking for someone who has:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting roles including general ledger postings reconciliations month-end close financial reporting support vendor master data management and business analysis. LATAM or regional finance exposure is preferred.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish. English is TOMRAs business language while Spanish is essential for local business and statutory interactions.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles financial reporting tax and compliance requirements.
- High attention to detail with experience handling financial documents tax information and account reconciliations.
- Ability to manage high transaction volumes prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong analytical problem-solving organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with ERP systems accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with local regional and international teams.
- Adaptable to changing processes systems regulations and business needs.
- High ethical standards and integrity when handling confidential financial information.
