Position:

We are currently hiring an intern looking for a winter term position (January to April 2027). Candidates in an undergraduate program that will be returning to school after their internship are eligible to apply.

This is a full-time position requiring 37.5 hours per week Monday through Friday. Candidates must be eligible to work full-time for the entire duration of the program.

The Salesforce Platform Pod at IGM is a highly collaborative group with experience in and passion for delivering innovative solutions for our clients and advisors using the latest technology and insights.

As an Intern you will work with the members of our teams and will have an opportunity to contribute to the delivery of technology solutions for our business partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Salesforce Platform team in delivering enhancements continuous improvements and operational activities.
  • Assist with Salesforce administration activities including user setup profiles permission sets roles queues public groups and basic access troubleshooting.
  • Help triage and investigate Salesforce user issues defects access requests and data quality concerns.
  • Participate in sandbox testing release validation and post-deployment checks for Salesforce changes.
  • Collaborate with business and technology partners to understand user needs and assist in developing solutions.
  • Participate in Agile delivery practices including planning sessions stand-ups retrospectives and sprint reviews.
  • Gather document and analyze business requirements user stories and process improvements.
  • Support reporting data analysis and platform performance monitoring.
  • Create and maintain business technical and user documentation.
  • Track initiatives milestones risks and action items across workstreams.
  • Support reporting dashboard creation data analysis and operational metrics to help drive business and platform decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes user experiences and team effectiveness through automation AI-enabled tools and innovative solutions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional pod members including business analysts developers administrators architects quality specialists and product stakeholders to support delivery of business value.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Information Systems Computer Science Engineering Data Analytics or a related field.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes for access management testing documentation and change control.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Interest in technology digital platforms customer experience and innovation.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tools with an interest in applying them to business and technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated curiosity initiative adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning with a willingness to embrace new technologies challenges and ways of working.
  • Technical foundation in CRM platforms databases data analysis and business applications; familiarity with Salesforce concepts such as objects fields reports dashboards user access and declarative configuration is considered an asset. Exposure to SQL Java JavaScript Python Agile practices or related technologies is also beneficial.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira Azure DevOps Confluence or GitHub is considered an asset.

The expected annual base salary range (prorated for the term) for this role is $49000 - $51000 which is determined based on year of study IGM program geographic location and candidates skills knowledge and addition to base salary this role is eligible for paid time off.
