Position Overview
We are seeking a creative detail-oriented Merchandiser to join one of North Americas leading retail organizations. This is a unique opportunity for someone passionate about design and retail to grow within a supportive environmentfull training will be provided to help you develop your skills and advance your career.
What will you be doing
- Create innovative and functional display designs considering factors such as size weight and durability
- Develop and refine concepts using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Test and optimize display prototypes at the Innovation Centre before final rollout
- Design visually compelling in-store displays that enhance the customer shopping experience and align with brand standards
- Plan and execute seasonal promotional and category-specific merchandising strategies
- Ensure consistency and quality of visual merchandising across multiple store locations
- Coordinate installation and removal of displays ensuring accurate execution
- Track performance of displays and continuously improve designs based on insights
Must haves:
- Minimum 2 years of retail experience (store-level exposure preferred)
- Proficiency in Excel
- Strong understanding of retail trends branding and customer experience
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas to stakeholders
- Willingness to travel frequently to retail locations and competitor sites
- Valid drivers license and access to a personal vehicle
