Enrironmental Reporting & Data Management Co-op Student supports internal and external reporting requirements through data tracking consolidation analysis and process improvement initiatives. Assists with the organization and maintenance of SharePoint sites and document libraries supports Business Intelligence (BI) and project reporting dashboards and helps develop standardized reporting processes to improve data quality accessibility and efficiency. Works with stakeholders to maintain reporting tools document management systems and performance metrics while contributing to continuous improvement projects across the Environmental Services team.
Key Duties:
- Track consolidate and validate reporting data.
- Support internal regulatory and stakeholder reporting requirements.
- Maintain and enhance BI and project reporting dashboards.
- Organize clean up and maintain SharePoint sites and document libraries.
- Develop and document reporting processes and procedures.
- Analyze data and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Support document management records management and reporting initiatives.
Selection Criteria:
- Currently in 2nd or 3rd year of a 4-year Business or IT Management program
- Proficient in scripting and debugging.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint Visio SharePoint)
- Power BI or analytics tools experience is an asset
- Strong communication planning and organizational skills
- Knowledge of IT and business administration
- Ability to function as a team member and agent of change
- Excellent analytical written and oral communication skills
Hydro One requires that all students applying for student opportunities be enrolled in post-secondary level studies and be returning to full-time studies upon the completion of their work term. Exceptions will be made in cases where students require a work term in order to graduate.

The base salary for this role considers a variety of factors including candidates knowledge skills experience education and any applicable collective agreement requirements for union-represented positions.
