Position Title: Territory Sales Representative
Location: Bulkley-Nechako & Kitimat British Columbia Canada
Contract Type: Full-Time Permanent
Work Arrangement: Field-Based / Onsite Territory
Compensation: Commission-Based Benefits
Travel: Extensive travel within the assigned territory; occasional travel to the United States

Role Overview

Our client is seeking a motivated Territory Sales Representative to drive customer success strengthen existing relationships and develop new business opportunities across the assigned territory.

The successful candidate will spend approximately 90% of their time in the field working directly with hardware retailers and helping them access solutions that improve inventory management pricing store operations e-commerce and overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate programs products and business solutions.
  • Develop customized sales proposals to generate new business opportunities.
  • Promote solutions related to inventory management retail pricing store layout and design and e-commerce.
  • Conduct strategic customer visits and implement targeted territory action plans.
  • Attend dealer markets industry events and customer meetings as required.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the hardware and retail industry.
  • Record and manage customer interactions opportunities and activities using CRM systems.
  • Identify opportunities to increase customer loyalty sales and long-term business growth.
Requirements
  • Previous outside sales experience preferred.
  • Experience in the wholesale or retail hardware industry is a strong asset.
  • Strong communication relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Customer-focused self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid drivers licence with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.
  • Ability to travel periodically to the United States for business events and meetings.
  • Ability to work full-time within the designated territory.
