Technical Sales Representative Active Greenhouse

Please note: this role can be supported remotely from within the South Ontario area. Optimal support locations are in the Kingsville and Leamington areas.

At Syngenta we believe every employee has a role to play in safely feeding the world and taking care of our planet. To support that challenge the Vegetable Seeds Sales team is seeking a Technical Sales Representative in South Ontario. 
 
This is a remote position that is based in Leamington ON or Kingsville ON Canada (South Ontario).
 
What will you do:

• Direct or correspondent responsibility for the management of the clients account and customer service throughout the assigned area.
• Reach the sales budget for the assigned area.
• Identify the growth potential of key customers.
• Identify and exploit new business opportunities within the assigned area.
• Develop a network of local influencers for recommendations and anticipate changes in the market.
• Forecasting of product sales market demands and market trends within the assigned area.
• Generate demand in the field through a plan that includes tests field days and training with local growers and technicians.
• Constant communication with the customer service to verify inventories and the distribution of products in order to guarantee timely delivery to customers

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Agriculture or Science and/or Business
• High-tech greenhouse growing relevant experience
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge and experience with the roles main crops: tomatoes peppers and cucumbers
• Must have valid passport
• Intermediate/advanced management of MS Office (Excel)

The annual basesalaryfor this position is CAD 96000- 120000. Thisrangereflects market rates and is ultimately determined by several factors including the candidates skill experience and relevant education.
