About the Role:

This role is responsible for planning and developing ATCO Electrics 25 kV distribution system to ensure safe reliable and efficient service for customers. The position focuses on distribution planning and protection supporting customer connections and system improvement projects. Responsibilities include conducting system studies developing protection schemes issuing equipment settings and designing and implementing distribution infrastructure projects.

What You GettoDo:

Under general supervision employees perform various duties within their area of assigned duties.

Typical duties may include but are not limited to:

• Produces edits analyzes and models data specific to the team function.
• Prepares andsubmitsreports and/or analysis inan accurateandtimelymanner for monthly quarterlyannualand other special reports as required by the team function departmentor regulation.
• Gathers data and coordinates schedules for various audits.
• Tests andfacilitatesfield implementation of hardware and software.
• Provides technical support andassistancethat arerequiredspecific to or outside of the team function or department.
• Participates in project planning meetings and acts as a liaisonwith internal groups.
• Develops andmaintainspolicies.

What You Bring:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a post-secondary technology diploma in a related discipline from a recognized Canadian institute of technology.
• May berequiredtoattainregistration with A.S.E.T.
• 2 - 5 years of related experience.
