Based in Sudbury ON theSurvey Technician will report to the Survey Crew Chief and will have a wide range of duties which ultimately focus on conventional surveying services. You will be part of a team that provides a full range of traditional surveying services as well as construction monitoring precision layout and high-definition 3D laser scanning. This is an existing vacancy within the organization. The wage range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00 hourly.

What Youll Do:
As part of the TULLOCH Geomatics team you will:
- Assist in the collection of field data using various survey instruments levels and GPS field equipment
- Organize field equipment and supplies
- Ensure all field equipment is accounted for and maintained in good working order
- Demonstrate the essential skills related to the use of all field equipment used to perform job responsibilities
- Clear away bush and trees from lines of a survey as needed

What You Should Bring:
The ideal candidate will have completed at least a two year college program in Survey Technician Civil Engineering Technician or Technology or have equivalent experience. Additionally you should have:
- At least 3 years experience working in the surveying field
- Proficiency in the use of various survey instruments calculators levels and GPS field equipment or have the aptitude to learn
- High motivation with results-oriented focus
- Superior organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Unwavering commitment to health and safety in the workplace
- A valid Class G drivers licence
- You are always keen to try something new
- You work hard until the job is done
- You go where others will not or cannot because you love a challenge
- You are trusted with the freedom and responsibility to work independently while contributing to overall team success
- You are willing to travel for fieldwork and site inspections
