The Role:
The Science Support Specialist provides science support to NWP students and follows the lead of the faculty. Through face-to-face and online assistance this position assists all students in ensuring their science skills meet or exceed post-secondary expectations. This position is also responsible for the creation of written online and interactive guides for students as well as developing appropriate workshops for NWP students. This is a temporary full-time position to cover employee leave and will run from September 2026 until April 30 2027.

Job Requirements
The successful candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Natural Science Life Science or similar. Necessary skills and attributes to be successful in this role include:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to build strong relationships within an organization
- A high level of integrity professionalism and accountability
