Holman has an outstanding opportunity for Supervisor Accounts Payable

What will you do

• Develop your skills and reach your potential by being a part of an exceptional team of professionals committing to stepping outside your comfort zone and learning this sector of the automotive industry.

• Provide leadership and strategic direction to team of 11 Accounts Payable administrators that process more than CAD$1.34B of payments each year.

• P&L responsibility of over CAD$30mm and integral member of a key revenue-generating department as Holman is a business-to-business service provider.

• Coach and develop high-performers to take on more responsibility and new roles throughout the organization.

• Analyze and provide ad hoc reporting for Management as required.

• Work closely with IT to implement additional revenue-generators and departmental efficiencies.

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments.

• Assist with audit requests and testing procedures.

• Relationship management with ARIs key network of vendor partners.

• Develop and maintain the appropriate controls to ensure that payments are made accurately and that there are no duplicate payments.

What are we looking for

• Excellent people leadership and communications skills.

• Ability to work effectively independently and as a team member managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

• Bachelors degree or post-secondary diploma in Accounting or related fields

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Word Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) is a plus.

• 3 years relevant experience with a proven track record of strong team leadership
