Superintendent
Job Summary
- Lead supervise and mentor field staff on-site while fostering a supportive and collaborative team environment;
- Manage daily construction activities and ensure adherence to project plans and schedules;
- Maintain strict safety standards and lead by example in promoting a safe work environment;
- Collaborate effectively with subcontractors and trade partners building positive working relationships that drive
project success; - Conduct regular site inspections safety meetings and quality control checks;
- Resolve on-site issues in collaboration with the project manager consultants and client representatives;
- Monitor progress against the project schedule and regularly report on status;
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages open communication and mutual respect
among all team members.
- Must have minimum 10 years of progressive experience in building construction with at least 5 years as a
Superintendent; - Must have experience with design-builds
- Must have a Gold Seal Certification or equivalent professional designation;
- OHSA certification and other relevant safety training;
- Knowledge of Ontario Building Code and municipal requirements;
- Lean construction or other methodology experience;
- Proven success leading large-scale commercial institutional and high-rise building projects;
- Strong knowledge of construction methods safety standards and scheduling;
- Excellent leadership communication and decision-making skills;
- Ability to foster collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders;
- Proficiency with construction management software and scheduling tools;
- Valid drivers license and ability to work full-time on-site;
- Must be eligible and able to obtain federal security clearance.

Required Skills:
EXIGENCES être titulaire dun baccalauréat en génie civil ou de la construction et/ou combinaison dexpérience & de formation équivalente; être membre de lOrdre des ingénieurs du Québec; posséder un minimum de 15 ans dexpérience pertinente; détenir de fortes aptitudes en communication; posséder une expérience pertinente en réalisation de projet denvergure de plus de 30 millions; le bilinguisme (un atout important); certification PMP ou PA LEED (un atout). PROFIL RECHERCHÉ fortes aptitudes en gestion négociation communication et résolution de problèmes; savoir faire preuve dinitiative et de leadership; avoir de lIntérêt et la capacité à encadrer et coacher les autres; capacité à gérer plus dun projet à la fois; sens des priorités; maîtrise des logiciels MS Office et MS Project; aimer le travail déquipe; posséder un bon sens de lorganisation et une bonne méthode de travail; être doté dun bon esprit danalyse facilité dadaptation et ouverture desprit; organisé structuré et rigoureux.
