Job Summary
Description
- Lead a team of Integration Specialists responsible for the design of Bombardiers product portfolio.
- Work collaboratively with internal platform teams external suppliers and platform leaders to align priorities and technical decisions.
- Manage the Engineering Statement of Work (SOW).
- Manage the engineering budget and departmental spending.
- Participate in management meetings and organize departmental governance.
- Communicate effectively and support management decisions and organizational messaging.
- Ensure appropriate management systems are in place to organize tasks priorities risks and mitigation plans.
- Coach mentor and develop employees through technical and soft skills training.
- Drive the deployment of Lessons Learned and Best Project Practices.
- Support Production and In-Service resolution activities as required.
How to thrive in this role
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related discipline (Aerospace preferred).
- Minimum 20 years of experience in multidisciplinary aerospace engineering projects.
- At least 3 years of supervisory/people management experience.
- Knowledge of aerospace design tools and MRB processes.
- Experience with multidisciplinary aircraft design and manufacturing methods.
- Strong leadership coaching and team-building abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- Fluent in English and French.
