Staff Supervisor
Job Summary
- Provide leadership mentoring and ongoing support to Program Leaders and volunteers to ensure the delivery of high-quality engaging inclusive and age-appropriate programs.
- Support program planning implementation and continuous improvement incorporating participant feedback and aligning with BGC Saskatoons mission values and quality standards.
- Monitor program quality through regular site visits evaluations and staff support while ensuring compliance with policies safety requirements and best practices.
- Collaborate with program management to implement national initiatives enhance participant experiences and maintain positive structured environments for children and youth.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with school administrators families community partners and internal teams to support effective communication and program consistency.
- Assist with program operations including supply management reporting record keeping scheduling payroll support and the coordination of special or full-day programming as needed.
- Minimum one year of experience working with children and youth in a leadership supervisory or program coordination role.
- Strong leadership organizational communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other administrative software.
- HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development (PHCD) and QUEST certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
- CPR/First Aid Certification (required - within first two months of employment)
- Employment is conditional upon successful completion of a Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Hold a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Drivers License.
- Be legally authorized to operate a motor vehicle in Saskatchewan.
- Have access to a reliable personal vehicle for work-related travel.
- Provide proof of valid drivers license and automobile insurance throughout employment.
