We are looking for multiple passionateSoftware Developersto join our team. You will develop critical software that powers the collection transformation and delivery of market data used by our trading systems. As a member of our team you will be surrounded by cutting-edge technology and senior technologists providing you with the best possible environment to succeed

How you will make an impact:

• Building scalable and performant software using software engineering best practices.
• Facilitating discussions on code implementation testing software architecture best practices
• Collaborating with operations and trading teams to ensure production systems are in optimal condition.
• Researching the latest technologies to enhance our trading systems.
• Driving projects and leading new initiatives
• Actively engaging with others on the development team to resolve challenging design and coding issues
• Working with complex real-time market data while ensuring accuracy completeness and consistency.
• Partnering with traders to explain technical challenges trade-offs and potential solutions enabling informed decision-making.

What you bring to the team:

• A Bachelors or a Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or equivalent
• 2 to 10 years of experience building software systems
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices
• Strong knowledge and experience in Python or C. Experience in both is an asset.
• Passion for financial markets and an interest in global events and how they influence market behaviour.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on data quality and correctness.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with any of these technologies is an asset: Redis RabbitMQ GraphQL Kafka MongoDB ELK Docker TCP HTTP Regex.
• Experience with relational databases is an asset
