This role is being offered as a 12 month contract.
- Customizing ERP systems using ERP platform development tools.
- Creating and executing automated tests and performing developer testing before deployment.
- Managing and supporting build creation and update deployment to development and test environments.
- Developing troubleshooting and enhancing custom-built applications.
- Responding to tier-three requests for technical support.
- Following established processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Investigating troubleshooting and resolving application defects and issues.
- Maintaining and performing technology upgrades on ERP system customizations and on custom-built applications.
- Incorporating AI agents and/or tools to assist with work assignments.
- Breaking down solution designs into development tasks and estimating effort.
- Communicating project progress issues risks and changes throughout development.
- Evaluating and recommending alternative technical solutions.
- Assisting with the creation and maintenance of technical documentation and reports.
- Researching and recommending new technologies enhancements and best practices.
- Providing technical guidance and support to team members as required.
- Developing and maintaining strong customer-focused relationships with stakeholders.
- 3 years of progressive experience in software development or a related field.
- Postsecondary degree or diploma in computer technology or a related discipline.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Experience with web-based development using Angular TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Experience with C# .NET and Azure Functions.
- Experience with SQL Server databases and Transact-SQL.
- Experience with GitHub Copilot Git Azure and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2022 Visual Studio Code or similar development tools.
- Understanding of software design patterns AI-assisted development Mobile Development CI/CD automation application architecture and API-based development.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum Lean XP and Agile.
- Ability to learn business processes and recommend technical solutions.
- Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Security and reliability-first mindset.
- Customization experience using X for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operationsor other ERP systems is considered a significant asset.
