About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Service Sprinkler Technician to join the Rotaflow team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing troubleshooting repairing inspecting and maintaining fire sprinkler systems while delivering safe professional and reliable service to our clients.

This is a field-based service role that requires strong technical knowledge troubleshooting skills attention to detail and the ability to work independently while representing Rotaflow professionally at client sites.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform service maintenance repairs and troubleshooting of fire sprinkler systems
  • Diagnose system issues and identify required repairs and deficiencies
  • Perform system modifications replacements and small installations as required
  • Conduct inspections and testing as required
  • Complete service reports deficiency reports and other required documentation accurately and on time
  • Coordinate with customers Project Managers and other team members to ensure work is completed efficiently
  • Communicate professionally with clients contractors and site personnel
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with applicable codes standards site requirements and Rotaflow safety procedures
  • Maintain company-provided tools equipment and service vehicle
  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship and customer service


Qualifications

  • Experience servicing maintaining and troubleshooting fire sprinkler systems
  • Journeyperson Sprinkler Systems Installer certification preferred
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of applicable fire sprinkler codes and standards
  • Valid drivers licence with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage service calls
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills
  • Strong commitment to workplace and client-site safety
  • UA Local 488 membership or eligibility to become a member as applicable


Compensation & Benefits

This position falls under UA Local 488 with wages benefits pension and other applicable terms and conditions provided in accordance with the current collective agreement.
