Service Manager
Job Summary
- Oversee daily shop operations and ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Review manage and close work orders while ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare repair estimates and bids and provide timely oversight of quotes for repair and maintenance work.
- Review and evaluate work orders for accuracy profitability and completeness.
- Address and resolve customer and internal service concerns professionally and effectively.
- Manage and evaluate department P&L including capital expenditures and operating expenses.
- Work closely with other departments to promote communication collaboration and a strong team environment.
- Manage employee-related matters including hiring mentoring performance management disciplinary actions and terminations.
- Identify technician training needs and coordinate training to ensure technicians remain current with evolving technology and industry practices.
- Promote a safe professional and productive shop environment.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior management.
- Minimum 5 years of management experience within the heavy construction mining equipment commercial vehicle or related heavy-equipment industry.
- Previous Service Manager Fleet Manager Shop Manager or similar leadership experience.
- Dealership experience is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and relationship-management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn and utilize service management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead motivate and develop a team.
- Strong understanding of service department operations repair processes and work-order management.
- $90000$95000 per year based on experience and qualifications.

Required Skills:
