Purpose of Role:
The Service EIT will manage service and production jobs in the Calgary shop to ensure timely quoting repair and assembly of jobs to ensure on time delivery for customers. They will develop a strong knowledge of Weir OEM product lines in order to understand best repair method and be able to provide repair recommendations. They will also be responsible for the P&L of any jobs under their control.

Key Responsibilities:
- Quoting & Inspection Reports: Quote customer OEM equipment and non-OEM equipment for service repairs. Generate inspection reports for submission to the customer and determine the course of repair required to bring equipment back up to operational/OEM standards.
- Project Scheduling: Work with manager and shop supervisor to help determine the production schedule based on availability of material and workload within the shop. Communicate directly with customers to keep them appraised of the status of their repair.
- Support Ongoing Jobs: Open jobs and provide all supporting documents to the Service Centre Techs collect the data formulate and provide a Quote/ETA of parts and repair to the customer. Open service repair jobs and provide the Regional Service Manager with Cost/Sell/Margin and fully disclosing all related issues to service repairs.
- Update SAP: Create BOMs and Routings on the company ERP platform to ensure efficient and cost effective completion of jobs

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Mechanical Engineer Degree
- 1-2 years of EIT experience
- Experience working in an industrial setting
- Experience using an ERP system
