Be a part of our mission to support First Nations in achieving their financial goals and enhancing their administrative ApplyFlexible work hours and a 37.5-hour work weekAnnual salary and potential for an annual bonusGenerous employer paid extended benefits including a Registered Pension Plan with matching contributionsAbove average vacation days wellness days and holidaysOpportunities for professional development and career growthA talented diverse and inclusive team doing transformative work on a national scaleHybrid work opportunities availableWhat You Will Do:Serve as the main point of contact for First Nations clients accounting firms contractors and internal teams throughout project projects from planning to completion managing timelines budgets resources and project scope feasibility risks and costs to support informed project budgets expenses invoices and resource requirements to keep projects on and maintain strong relationships with clients partners contractors and project progress prepare status reports and provide regular updates to clients and project risks and challenges and implement strategies to reduce impacts and maintain project meetings gather feedback and identify opportunities to improve project and oversee contractors and service providers including onboarding work assignment and performance projects are delivered in accordance with established project management practices and quality accurate project documentation records and reporting throughout the project to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes tools and service You Are:Bachelors degree in Business Information Management Project Management Accounting or a related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) designation required. CPA designation is considered an asset. Seven (7) to ten (10) years of progressive experience managing complex projects preferably within financial reporting accounting audit consulting public sector or professional services environments. Strong understanding of financial reporting audit readiness financial governance and budget management principles. Experience working with First Nations governments Indigenous organizations or Indigenous-led initiatives. Demonstrated experience managing contractors consultants professional service providers and multi-stakeholder projects. Experience leading change management and implementation initiatives within a project environment. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Office applications; experience with Power BI and project management software is an asset. Strong ability to identify manage and communicate project risks issues and mitigation strategies. Experience preparing and presenting reports recommendations and project updates to senior leadership executives and governance bodies. Excellent analytical financial problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively with clients stakeholders and partners. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism tact and discretion. Fluent in English both written and spoken; French language skills are an asset.
