Senior Payroll Analyst

The main responsibilities associated with this position include:

• Prepare and process payroll accurately using WorkForceNow (ADP);
• Ensure compliance with federal and provincial tax and legislative requirements;
• Prepare and issue Records of Employment (ROEs) and tax slips (T4 RL-1 T2200 etc.);
• Manage statutory deductions and other payroll withholdings (investments insurance mortgages etc.);
• Prepare reports required by provincial workers compensation boards;
• Work closely with the Human Resources Finance and Information Technology teams;
• Assume certain supervisory coordination and coaching responsibilities related to payroll operations;
• Serve as a key contact for the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) Revenu Québec and other provincial authorities;
• Develop update and maintain internal documentation and procedures;
• Ensure payroll deadlines are met to guarantee accurate and timely payroll processing.

• Degree in Business Administration Accounting or a related field;
• Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience in a multi-provincial environment;
• Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation required; Payroll Leadership Professional (PLP) designation considered an asset;
• Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation tax regulations employment standards and compliance requirements;
• Proficiency with WorkForceNow (ADP) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel;
• Experience with pension plans group benefits government remittances and year-end payroll processes;
• Demonstrated experience providing supervision coordination or guidance within a payroll team;
• Excellent communication skills in both French and English written and spoken;
• Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making abilities;
• Proven leadership autonomy attention to detail discretion and organizational skills.
