Senior Manager, Software and Data Engineering

At STEMCELL Technologies were working towards having a direct and positive impact on advancing scientific research in fields such as cancer immunology and tissue engineering. We are looking for a Senior Manager Software and Data Engineering to join our Information Systems team to lead the overall management of enterprise data architecture engineering and platforms.

As the Senior Manager Software and Data Engineering you will lead our technical team and the development integration operation and continuous improvement of the companys custom software applications SAP solutions and integrations data solutions website and e-commerce platforms. You will provide leadership and oversight for SAP development enhancements integrations and technical support ensuring SAP solutions effectively enable and evolve critical business processes. You will work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional technology teams to ensure that custom applications SAP data platforms and digital solutions are effectively integrated across the enterprise.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures the successful delivery of software and data solutions across the project portfolio translating requirements provided by business analysts and other stakeholders into integrated production-ready applications data products and digital capabilities that achieve the intended business outcomes.

• Owns the quality reliability security and lifecycle management of the companys custom-developed solutions including internal applications system integrations data platforms and pipelines the corporate website and e-commerce applications.

• Establishes and governs engineering practices and technical standards that enable consistent solution design software development data engineering testing deployment documentation monitoring support and continuous improvement.

• Leads portfolio planning and delivery management for the function balancing new development enhancements operational support technical debt risk reduction platform modernization and available team capacity.

• Builds and leads a high-performing software and data engineering team establishing clear accountabilities developing technical and leadership capability managing performance and ensuring the organization has the skills and capacity required to meet current and future needs.

Knowledge and Qualifications

• 10 years of combined education and/or experience in Software and Data Engineering

• Experience leading software development application integration and data engineering within a complex enterprise environment including demonstrated accountability for delivering and operating business-critical technology solutions.

• Practical knowledge and experience in leading teams processes and projects related to software development or software engineering

• Advanced-level knowledge and skills across a range of areas within software and data engineering

• Applicable Technologies include AWS Development Mulesoft Automation Anywhere Snowflake Tableau Magento and SAP.

The annual salary for this job ranges from:

$138900.00 - $208300.00

STEMCELL determines an individuals pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience education job-related skills and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company addition to base salary STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits retirement savings and more.
