Senior IT Project Manager

CGI is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading insurance organization undergoing a major digital transformation aimed at enhancing customer experience optimizing operations and modernizing its application ecosystem.

As part of this journey several strategic initiatives are underway including the evolution of digital experiences business process modernization automation and technology transformation.

We are seeking a senior professional who can lead strategic projects and programs end-to-end effectively engage business and technology stakeholders and ensure the successful delivery of expected outcomes within a rapidly evolving environment.

.Lead the governance planning execution and delivery of strategic projects and programs within the Property & Casualty Insurance sector.
.Oversee the successful delivery of digital transformation initiatives involving multiple business and IT teams.
.Coordinate activities among business stakeholders technology teams architects vendors and external partners.
.Manage budgets schedules risks dependencies and delivery issues.
.Ensure alignment of initiatives with business objectives digital strategy and organizational priorities.
.Lead the implementation of application solutions modernization projects and new business capabilities.
.Drive organizational change management and operational readiness activities.
.Produce performance indicators executive reports and presentations for governance committees.
.Recommend the most appropriate delivery strategies in complex transformation environments.
.Contribute to the continuous improvement of project and program management practices.
Requirements
Education
.Bachelors degree in Business Administration Information Technology Engineering or a related field.
.PMP PgMP PRINCE2 SAFe or equivalent certification is considered a significant asset.
Experience
.Minimum of 7 years of experience managing large scale projects or programs.
.Significant experience delivering digital transformation initiatives.
.Demonstrated experience leading implementation application modernization or business process transformation projects.
.Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams or strategic programs.
.Experience working within large organizations operating under complex governance structures.
.Property & Casualty Insurance industry experience is considered a major asset.
.Knowledge of underwriting pricing claims management or policy administration processes is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience delivering complex digital transformation initiatives and excels at bridging the gap between business and technology teams. They are recognized for their ability to structure mobilize and advance strategic initiatives while maintaining a high level of rigor collaboration and focus on business outcomes.
Hands on experience within an insurance organization particularly in the Property & Casualty Insurance sector combined with expertise in solution implementation and program management will be considered a significant advantage.
