Reporting to the Project Manager and Project Director the Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the following:
Preparation of drawings specifications reports and other technical documents for electrical distribution protection controls and other auxiliary systems for dam and hydroelectric projects;
Ensure design compliance with guidelines codes regulations and other reference documentation;
Assist project managers in the technical planning control and coordination of projects;
Work closely with technical teams to coordinate engineering work;
Ensure quality assurance of deliverables;
Evaluation of electrical/controls systems products and components;
Report writing and equipment recommendation/selection;
Incorporation of engineering changes into design;
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Post-secondary degree in Electrical Engineering;
Registered member of EGBC is required;
Minimum 5 years of experience in Construction industry;
Experience in hydroelectricity and dams is considered an asset;
Strong computer skills with various software experience including MS Office BlueBeam ACC etc.
Bilingualism French and English would be considered an asset.

Compensation within the range is determined based on relevant experience qualifications localization and internal equity.
