Job Summary

Reporting to the Resort Activities Manager the Resort Activities Coordinator provides administrative systems revenue and operational support for the Resort Activities department.

This role serves as the departments Guest Experience Platform (UrVenue) Champion ensuring activity products schedules inventory pricing and booking information are accurate and optimized for guest engagement and revenue performance. The Coordinator will also support the operation of the Adventure Center (opening May 2027) helping coordinate programming guest inquiries guide utilization equipment readiness activity departures and interdepartmental communication.

The successful candidate is highly organized detail-oriented self-motivated and able to balance administrative responsibilities with the needs of a dynamic guest-focused operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional engaging service to guests and colleagues.
  • Manage and maintain Resort Activities products and inventory within the Guest Experience platform (UrVenue).
  • Monitor participation capacity revenue and booking trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate guide schedules activity availability and operational readiness.
  • Support Adventure Hub operations programming equipment and guest flow.
  • Provide administrative support including scheduling documentation communications and record management.
  • Coordinate onboarding training administration certifications and colleague records.
  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Ensure accurate activity information is communicated across guest-facing and internal platforms.
  • Collaborate with hotel departments to support guest group and special-event programming.
  • Assist with seasonal activities events and new program initiatives.
  • Support purchasing invoice tracking budget monitoring and inventory management.
  • Maintain operational safety training and compliance documentation.
  • Compile departmental reports and monitor key performance indicators.
  • Review guest feedback and escalate operational or safety concerns as required.
  • Provide frontline support including reservations check-in registrations and guest inquiries.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of resort activities facilities and local attractions.
  • Follow all safety and operational procedures and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in hospitality recreation guest services administration or a related field.
  • Strong organizational administrative and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with reservation activity management or similar systems is an asset.
  • Self-motivated detail-oriented and able to work independently while delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain certification within a designated period.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings evenings weekends and statutory holidays according to operational requirements.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in changing mountain weather and perform occasional physically demanding duties including lifting up to 25 kilograms.
