Report Developer Senior

Job Title: Report Developer - Senior
Location: Toronto Ontario

Demonstrated working knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Report Builder (minimum 2 years)

Demonstrated working knowledge of SQL query languages including T-SQL and PL-SQL (minimum 4 years)

Demonstrated working knowledge of DAX programming (minimum 2 years)

• Support migration of approximately 270 operational reports from legacy systems to CDT solution

• Collaborate with Project Manager and business stakeholders to modernize reports

• Migrate reports to Power BI Desktop or Power BI Report Builder

• Design and develop reports aligned with OPS standards and accessibility requirements

• Perform report assessments and define migration approach

• Develop dashboards and reporting solutions

• Troubleshoot issues and apply corrective actions during testing phases

• Support validation and pre-release testing

• Prepare and maintain documentation for reporting solutions

• Participate in knowledge transfer activities

• Experience building and implementing reporting and business intelligence solutions

• Ability to analyze and interpret data for reporting purposes

• Experience working with data models and analytics solutions

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to work in team environments and meet deadlines

• Experience with ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory or SSDT

• Experience building financial reports and performing data reconciliation

• Experience prototyping reporting solutions

• Experience designing deployment and testing strategies

• Experience integrating reporting solutions with third-party systems

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

• Experience writing T-SQL queries for data extraction and reporting

• Experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Report Builder

• Experience developing dashboards and reports

• Experience with DAX programming and data modelling

• Experience working with ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory or SSDT

• Experience troubleshooting BI reports dashboards and SQL queries

• Experience analyzing data for validation and resolving data quality issues
