Quality Engineering Analyst-CAN

Infosys is seeking a Quality Engineering Analyst

As a Quality Engineering Analyst you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance ofToronto ON/ Mississauga ON/ Calgary ALor be willing to relocate to one of these areas.This position may require travel.
• At least 4 years of software testing experience.

Technical and Professional Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in performance testing
• Excellentperformance engineering experienceor equivalent knowledge in Software Engineering
• Experienceintesting troubleshooting & providingtuning recommendationsfor applications.
• Experiencein various software development and testmethodologies.
• Experiencein performance testing tools such asLoadrunnerEnterpriseApacheJMeter.
• Experiencein performancetuning ofSQL queries.
• ExperiencewithJVM tuningtechniques.
• Experienceindata analysis and visualization.
• Experiencein one or more programming languages such asPython Perl ABAP Java C.
• Demonstrateexcellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment

Additional preferred skills:

• Knowledge of more than one performance tool

• Awareness of latest technologies and trends
• Good problem solving analytical and debugging skills

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:
Ontario: $ 66183 to $80721
