Quality Assurance Analyst

Client is in the active delivery phase of an integration and components project and is seeking immediate support in test execution without a long learning curve. The ideal candidate is an experienced manual tester comfortable with APIs and databases capable of working on critical functional scenarios in a dynamic Agile environment. The role is explicitly short-term: concrete contribution from day one simple and effective testing rather than methodological perfectionism. Jira and Xray are the defect management tools; familiarity with these tools is expected but not formally required. Experience in automation is an asset not a selection criterion which confirms that the need is primarily manual and operational. Knowledge of the financial sector is an asset but is highly relevant to the context.

• Execute manual tests on critical functional scenarios
  
• Validate the systems main flows (e.g. insert read update)
  
• Test using:

• Identify and document anomalies in Jira/Xray
  
• Prioritize tests based on delivery objectives
  
• Collaborate closely with developers to validate delivered features

Requirements

REQUIRED

• Proven experience in manual testing within IT projects AND Full coverage: demonstrable implementation projects
  
• Agile methodology AND Full coverage: experience in an Agile team with iterative deliveries
  
• Good understanding of APIs AND Full coverage: testing using APIs
  
• Good understanding of databases AND Full coverage: reading and validating database data via SQL in a test environment
  
• Documentation of anomalies in Jira/Xray AND Full coverage: direct use of both tools
