Role Description

The Senior Automation Engineer must bring extensive handson experience across modern automation frameworks SAP platforms CI/CD quality engineering and containerized environments. The role requires the ability to define author and drive automation strategies while enabling strong quality controls across the SDLC.

Essential Skills

Extensive applied knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks such as WebDriverIO TypeScript JavaScript
Strong advocate of quality controls across unit integration and acceptance testing using tools like JUnit and WebDriverIO
Applied knowledge of SAP offerings including S/4 and SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris)
Understanding of programming languages and frameworks:

Java
JavaScript
TypeScript
HTML
CSS
Spring Boot
ReactJS
NextJS
TailwindCSS

Ability to define author and drive test automation strategies using bestinclass platforms
Proven experience with CI/CD processes and embedding quality controls into each SDLC stage (ShiftLeft mindset)
Strong understanding of ITSM (ITIL v4) processes for change knowledge incident and problem management
Experience with containerization technologies:

Docker
ContainerD
Kubernetes (K8s K3s)
Container registries & artifact tools (Artifactory GCR ACR ECR)

Understanding of REST GraphQL and eventdriven architecture (Pub/Sub Kafka)
Ability to understand customer needs and align testing strategies accordingly
