Leadsproject governance by developing project strategiesidentifyingand mitigating risks resolving complex issues and implementing change management approaches to support project success.
Maintainsproject budgets from development through completion byestablishingcost estimates monitoring expenditures administering change orders and communicating financial impacts to stakeholders.
Developsandmaintainscomprehensive project schedules by coordinating activities tracking milestonesmonitoringdependencies and addressing schedule risks and delays.
Leadsstakeholder engagement activities byidentifyingproject stakeholders developing communication strategiesfacilitatingconsultations and maintaining effective relationships throughout project delivery.
Coordinatesthe development of preliminary and final designs by working with internal departments external consultants and technical specialists.

Qualifications
A bachelors degree in engineeringconstructionmanagementarchitecturearchitecturaltechnology ora relatedfield.
Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is preferred.
Membership with the Saskatchewan Applied Science Technologists and Technicians (SASTT) or another relevant professional association is preferred.
Minimum of threeyears of progressively responsible construction project management experienceincludingexperience developing and managing project budgets schedules and contract documentation.
Experience managing and delivering capital construction projects on behalf of an owner/client using various procurement models including design-build design-bid-build and construction management.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects through all phases from planning and procurement to commissioning and closeout.
Working knowledge of applicable building codes regulations legislation construction standards and project governance practices.
Strong leadership communication collaboration and stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate consultants contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent analytical problem-solving negotiation conflict resolution and decision-making skills with sound judgment and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiencywith Microsoft Office and project management software; knowledge of university policies planning processes and sustainability principles is an asset.
