Intertek is searching for aProject Engineer Engineering Servicesto join ourBuilding & Constructionteam in ourCoquitlam BC office. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in theTesting Inspection and Certification (TIC) Industry!

TheProject Engineer Engineering Servicesis responsible for managing complex projects related to regulatory compliance of building products and/or assemblies direct involvement in Intertek certification programs and engagement with various external industries and technical associations.

What youll do:

• Work on engineering evaluations for regulatory compliance in Canada and US markets for both standardized and innovative building materials/assemblies

• Prepare technical and certification documentation derived from test results and evaluations.

• Help write compliance research reports create Listing reports through Interteks certification program and manage QA programs

• Perform audits and product sampling at client manufacturing facilities.

• Collaborate closely with sales laboratory and technical teams to support seamless project execution.

• Manage assigned projects from initiation to completion ensuring quality accuracy and timely delivery with continuous communication with clients.

• Participate actively in industry committees standards development activities and technical association meetings.

• Interactwithclientsaccreditorsand/orAuthorityHavingJurisdictiontoresolve any matters

What it takes to be successful in this role:

• Bachelors degree in engineering architecture construction management or a related field

• Minimum of five years of experience in technical writing regulatory compliance and familiarity with the testing inspection and certification industry

• Excellentcommunicationandinterpersonalskills

• Mustbeabletoworkindependentlyinafast-pacedmulti-taskingenvironment

• Collaborative mindset with the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams

• MicrosoftOfficesoftwareexpertise

• Valid drivers license

• Be able to travel within Canada and USA
