Job Summary

We are looking to add a Project Engineer to our team in Campbell River.

Reporting to the Project Manager the Project Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the project is completed safely on schedule and in compliance with the contract and job cost estimates.

Responsibilities:

Develop detailed project plans including scope goals deliverables resource allocation timelines and budgets.
Work closely with project managers engineers and stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned and progressing smoothly.
Provide engineering expertise and technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain thorough documentation of project activities including plans designs reports and updates.
Monitor project costs manage budgets and report on financial status.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Ensure ail project activities meet or exceed industry standards regulations and company quality guidelines.
Regularly update stakeholders on project progress challenges and changes in scope.
Address technical issues and project challenges providing solutions to keep the project on track.
Ability to troubleshoot issues and think critically to solve complex problems.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Requirements

Bachelors degree in engineering in Mechanical Civil Electrical or related.
Minimum 5 years of experience in project engineering or a related field.
Proficient in project management software (e.g. MS Project AutoCAD) with a strong understanding of engineering principles.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information.
Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
Ability to troubleshoot issues and think critically to solve complex problems
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

In accordance with applicable pay transparency legislation EBC Inc. has included the expected salary range for this role which is $60000 - $100000. Compensation within the range is determined based on relevant experience qualifications localization and internal equity. Base salary is one component of EBCs comprehensive total rewards offering which may include performance-based incentives extended health and wellness benefits retirement savings programs and career development opportunities.
