The Role

The Program Assistant provides comprehensive administrative support to the School of Skilled Trades assisting faculty staff students and leadership with the day-to-day operations of the Construction Industrial and Mechanic Trades departments. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring programs operate efficiently while delivering excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have two years of post-secondary education and one year of related experience. An Office Administration or Business Administration Diploma is preferred. An equivalent education and experience will be considered.

  • proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook;
  • strong organizational and multi-tasking skills;
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • ability to build strong relationships across the organization; and
  • a high level of integrity professionalism and accountability.
