Job Responsibilities:
Job Profile: The EPP Process Technician is responsible for adjusting the machine settings to ensure part quality is meeting customer specifications. Collecting and analyzing dimensional data to validate process settings as well as continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs increase productivity and maintain part quality.
QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY TO DO THE JOB:
- Immediate open position
- $31.00 - $34.47 per hour
- College certificate or University degree in a technical field is preferred.
- Strong ability to use critical thinking and troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in data collection analysis and reporting using Microsoft Excel using data to drive decision making.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and interpret process data.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based setting.
- Flexible to support shift rotations and vacation coverage as required.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality safety and reliability.
MAIN DUTIES:
- Monitor and optimize process performance to ensure product quality yield and cycle time targets are achieved.
- Troubleshoot process and quality concerns identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Adjust machine and process parameters to resolve production and quality issues.
- Document and report non-conformances process deviations and performance concerns.
- Communicate ongoing issues and improvement opportunities to Process and Production Leadership.
- Document and communicate through a daily shift report.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction productivity and quality enhancement.
- Perform all duties in compliance with safety environmental and quality standards.
- Maintain workplace organization and housekeeping in accordance with 5S principles.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
